Place Branding | Griffith College – Brisbane CBD Campus
For Griffith College's new Brisbane CBD campus, we turned wayfinding into brand storytelling. Griffith engaged us to develop the creative and wayfinding signage across the new multi-level campus, and from the start we treated the whole space as one connected environment, every element working together across all floors. The opportunity was to bring Griffith's brand to life in the space itself, and make the campus feel considered and purposeful, designed around the student journey.
We delivered over 90 signage pieces, managing everything from design through to production. A close, collaborative process with Griffith helped us deliver something meaningful, on brand, and aligned with the student experience.

Approach
The concept, Enjoy the Journey, came out of a Discovery Workshop we ran with Griffith and Navitas, built on insight into student attitudes and values. We designed the key touchpoints to carry the brand and reflect the student journey, with storytelling and cultural inclusivity at the centre, shaped for Griffith's cohorts and particularly its international students.
Each piece was scaled to its setting and given a clear role, from interactive and engaging through to purely informative, so the creative and the function worked as one. We led the project end to end through our four-step process, Discovery, Design, Develop and Deliver, working within Griffith's brand guidelines and managing the budgets, timelines and stakeholders throughout.
Results
We developed, designed and produced more than 90 pieces of signage, managing every stage from design to production in close collaboration with the Griffith team. The work was named a finalist at the 2025 Brisbane Advertising and Design Awards.
